Terms of Service
What you can expect from aperture, and what we ask of you when you use it.
Version 2026.1 · Effective October 9, 2026
1. Who these terms cover
Alasia Industries LLC, a New York limited liability company based in New York, NY, which operates Aperture (“aperture,” “we,” or “us”), provides a private media library with tools for drafting, reviewing and sending image, video and speech generation requests to third-party AI providers. By creating an account or using aperture, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use aperture.
2. Your account
You need an account to use aperture. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us at support@aperture.video if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what is done through the connectors and clients you authorize, such as Claude. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
3. The subscription
aperture is offered as a subscription of $200 per month, billed in advance in USD through our payment processor, Stripe. It renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account; cancelling stops future charges. Promotional codes are applied at checkout on the terms shown there. We may change the price going forward and will tell you before a change applies to you. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
4. Your provider accounts and keys
Generation runs on your own accounts with third-party providers such as fal.ai, Higgsfield, ElevenLabs and Runpod, using API keys you add to aperture. You are responsible for those accounts, for complying with each provider’s terms and policies, and for every charge a provider makes for requests sent with your keys. Providers bill you directly; aperture does not resell or mark up their services and is not responsible for their prices, availability, outputs or decisions.
aperture sends a generation request only when you, or a client acting for you such as Claude, submit that request. Drafts are free. Once a request is sent, the provider may charge for it even if it fails or you do not like the result, and aperture cannot cancel it at the provider.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything generated for you, as between you and us. You give us permission to store, process, copy and transmit it only as needed to run aperture for you, including sending inputs to the providers you choose. Rights in generated outputs may also be subject to each provider’s terms. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use aperture to:
- Break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.
- Create or store sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content depicting a real person in a way they have not agreed to and that could harm or deceive.
- Harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone.
- Break any AI provider’s usage policies.
- Attempt to access another account’s library, or to break, overload or reverse engineer the service.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others or the service at risk.
7. Service availability
We work to keep aperture available and your files safe, but we provide the service “as is” and cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. We may change, add or remove features, including the models and providers supported.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for charges made by third-party providers, and our total liability to you for the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using aperture and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or the subscription is unpaid. To have your account and library deleted, write to support@aperture.video.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the version and effective date at the top of this page, and tell you of material changes by email. Continuing to use aperture after an update means you accept it.
