A private media library you direct from Claude.
aperture keeps your images, clips and audio in one private library, and makes new ones on the models you choose. Claude drafts every run. You review it, change what you like, and press Generate. Nothing is spent until you do.
$200 a month. Bring your own provider keys; generation is billed by the provider, with no markup.
Every run is a draft first
Generation is the expensive part, so it is the part you control. A run is drafted, reviewed and only then sent.
Ask Claude
Describe the still or the shot. Claude reads the model’s guide, agrees the direction with you, picks references from your library and drafts the run. Drafting is free.
Review the draft
The review panel shows the prompt whole, the references in the order the prompt cites them and the settings as chips. Edit, reorder or swap anything. Problems are flagged before you spend.
Press Generate
The request goes to the provider on your key. The outputs land in the run’s own folder, beside the exact request that made them.
Your library, in folders
Each account has its own private library. References, takes, finals and the runs that made them live side by side, where you put them.
- Folders you name
- Organise by character, location, project or anything else. A folder is a folder: create, rename, move and delete from the site or from Claude.
- A viewer built for review
- Open any image or clip full screen with its details and its folder beside it. Markdown, JSON and YAML open in a text editor.
- The home feed
- Every image and clip in the library, newest first, in one scrolling wall.
- Whole folders as zips
- Download a folder or a selection as a zip, built in your browser and streamed straight to disk.
- Runs you can read
- Each run is a folder holding the request as sent, its status, the provider’s answer and the outputs. Duplicate a run, or extend a clip, from the site.
- Deletes you can undo
- A deleted file stays recoverable for 90 days.
The models worth using, in one place
Runs go to fal.ai, Higgsfield, ElevenLabs and Runpod. Pick a model, not an endpoint: aperture chooses the host your keys allow and the endpoint your inputs need.

Work with Claude
aperture is an MCP connector. Add it once to Claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude Code, and Claude can browse your library, draft runs, and look at what came back. It drafts; you decide what gets made.
Direction before drafting
For a shot, Claude proposes a short shot card: what happens, what every person in frame does, the framing, the camera move, the sound. You agree it before anything is drafted.
Pickers, not links
When Claude needs references, it shows your library in a picker inside the chat. You choose, in order.
The panel in the chat
The same review panel as the site, drawn inline. You press Generate there, and watch the outputs arrive under it.
Eyes on the result
Claude can grab frames, lay a clip out as a contact grid, read its codecs and measure its audio before suggesting the next take.
Finish it here too
Clips are read where they are stored and the result is saved next to them. Media jobs and composition renders run on aperture’s own infrastructure and are part of the plan.
- Trim, stitch, convert
- Frame-accurate trims, clips stitched into one, and conversions to 8-bit H.264 for a provider that will not take the original.
- Play together
- Play several clips end to end as one sequence, save the list, or save it as one video.
- Transcripts and captions
- Transcription with named speakers, SRT and VTT captions, and translations into bilingual captions.
- Overlays
- Captions and graphics burned into a clip: five caption styles, title and end cards, safe zones for each platform, previewed before you render.
- Layouts
- Several clips in one frame — split screen, green screen, reaction, a face cam — with a voiceover or music laid under them.
- Motion graphics
- With Claude Code, Remotion renders animated captions, cards and graphics on your own machine, from the same overlay spec.
- Audio analysis
- Loudness, silences, beats and sections, and whether two tracks are the same recording.
Your keys, your bill
You connect your own API keys for the providers you use. Each provider bills you directly, at its own prices. aperture never marks up generation and never resells credits.
Keys are stored encrypted and are never shown back to you, only their last four characters. Higgsfield and ElevenLabs keys are tested with the provider when you save them. For Higgsfield models the review panel shows the provider’s own estimate before you press Generate.
