Privacy Policy
What aperture collects, where your files and keys are kept, and who processes them.
Version 2026.1 · Effective October 9, 2026
1. Scope
This policy covers personal information handled by Alasia Industries LLC, a New York limited liability company based in New York, NY, which operates Aperture (“aperture,” “we,” or “us”) when you use this website and the aperture app. We collect only what we need to run the service.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your email address and the sign-in records our authentication service keeps.
- Billing details: your subscription status and billing history. Card details are entered on and held by Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Your library: the files you upload, the outputs generated for you, and the records of each run (the request as sent, its status and the provider’s response).
- Provider keys: the API keys you add. They are stored encrypted, used only to send your requests to that provider, and never shown back to you beyond their last four characters.
- Technical logs: request logs our hosting keeps for security and troubleshooting.
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and stores nothing in your browser.
3. How we use it
To provide aperture: to sign you in, keep your library, send the requests you submit, bill the subscription, answer support requests and keep the service secure. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your files to train models.
4. Who processes it
- Amazon Web Services: hosting, storage of your library and keys, and sign-in.
- Stripe: subscription payments and the billing portal.
- The AI providers you choose (such as fal.ai, Higgsfield, ElevenLabs and Runpod): when you submit a run, its prompt and input files are sent to that provider under your own account and key, and handled under that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
- Anthropic: if you connect Claude, what Claude reads from or writes to your library through the connector passes through your Claude account, under Anthropic’s terms.
5. Keeping your library private
Your library is visible only to your account. Files are served through links that expire after an hour. Deleted files remain recoverable for 90 days and are then removed.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your library and keys, apart from what we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons, and except that deleted files may persist for up to 90 days in recoverable storage.
7. Your choices
You can download your files at any time, remove a provider key from your account, and ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by writing to support@aperture.video.
8. Children
aperture is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the version and effective date at the top of this page.
