How to set up

Five steps from nothing to your first run: an account, the subscription, your provider keys, Claude, and a draft you review before anything is spent.

  1. Create your account

Go to app.aperture.video and sign up with your email address. You will get an email to verify it. Your account comes with its own empty, private library.

  2. Subscribe

Subscribe to the Aperture plan, $200 a month, billed through Stripe. If you have a promo code, enter it at checkout. You can cancel any time from the billing portal in your account.

  3. Add your provider keys

Generation runs on your own provider accounts. In the app, open the account menu and choose Provider keys, then add a key for each provider whose models you want. Keys are stored encrypted and never shown again, only their last four characters.

Nano Banana, GPT Image, FLUX.2, Seedream, Krea and Veo, fal’s hosts of Seedance, Kling and Wan, and the clip descriptions and transcript translations.

Seedance 2.5 and 2.0 (including extend and edit), Kling 3, Wan 3, GPT Image 2.5, Genjutsu motion transfer and video upscaling.

Paste the whole key as the console shows it, id and secret together (id:secret).

Tested with Higgsfield when you save it.

Transcription (Scribe v2), the source of captions and translations.

Tested with ElevenLabs when you save it.

    Wan 2.2 image-to-video on Runpod’s public endpoint.

Accepted, but no model runs on ModelArk at the moment. You can skip it.

Without a key, aperture will not send a run to that provider; it never falls back to anyone else’s.

  4. Connect Claude

aperture is one MCP connector for every Claude app. Its address:

    https://app.aperture.video/mcp

    Claude.ai and Claude Desktop

Open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it aperture and paste the URL above. Then press Connect and sign in with your aperture account.

    Claude Code

Add the server, then run /mcp inside Claude Code and sign in when asked.

claude mcp add --transport http aperture https://app.aperture.video/mcp
  5. Your first run

Ask Claude for a still or a shot, for example “draft a portrait of a lighthouse keeper at dusk on Nano Banana Pro” or “animate this still into a five-second shot.” For video, Claude first proposes a short shot card; agree it or change it.

Claude drafts the run and shows the review panel in the chat. Check the prompt, the references and the settings, change anything you like, and press Generate. The outputs appear under the panel and in the run’s folder in your library.
